Mychal MillS

In his previous work, Mychal served as the Food Sourcing Supervisor at the FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. He was been instrumental in increasing the efficiency of the store donation program, growing it from 400,000 pounds to over 3 million pounds of food in just three years. Mychal was responsible for all incoming food logistics at the FoodBank, and he worked tirelessly to make sure that those in need have access to healthy and nutritious food.

Mychal has also served as a JET (Junior Entrepreneur Training) mentor and director for four years. JET is a program that teaches entrepreneurship to middle school-aged youth in Asbury Park, helping them develop and launch micro-businesses while learning lifelong skills such as team building and public speaking.

Recently, Mychal joined the TEL (Transformative Educational Leadership) team as a lead facilitator, supporting the advancement of educational leaders across the country. As a leader, Mychal is skilled in community collaboration and aligning higher purpose within the heart to create ripples of change in the world. He has a wide range of capabilities, including mindfulness, heartfulness, public speaking, mentorship, fierce compassion, critical and creative thinking, and purpose-driven dialogue.

Mychal holds a Bachelor's in Business Management and an MBA from Monmouth University. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mychal is also a talented poet and spoken word artist. In 2018, he released his first book of poetry, Journey Inn, and has been featured at several poetry readings along the Jersey Shore.

Mychal's heart is present in everything he does, and his ability to be an agent of change while staying true to his values is truly inspiring. Mychal's purpose is to awaken infinite love within himself and humanity.
